Instructional film focused on first line servicing – command structure of section responsible for first line servicing of aircraft on an RAF Station explained and planning of aircraft servicing. Organisation is key to efficient operation e.g. ensuring aircraft are hangared in such a way they are easily accessible. Other aspects of day to day procedures to follow to keep aircraft flying, on flight line (fire extinguisher drill etc), role of Air Traffic Control, starting aircraft using starter trolley, pilot communication with ATC, ground marshalling of aircraft.
