A Belvedere alights aft on Centaur. Wessex HAS.1 helicopters of 814 Squadron bring wounded Tanganyikans to the carrier - two stretcher cases, one with a bloodstained leg and other with a bandaged head. The Belvedere disembarks more wounded - one apparently dressed in only a bath towel. Marines check their Land Rover transport and embark stores and equipment on a Belvedere. HA as Marines run along the flightdeck to board two Wessex helicopters which lift off. Wessex 03 alights and embarks communications equipment, ammunition boxes and a heavily laden party of marines. Wessex 04 embarks marines, urged on by the Captain of the Flight Deck. One of the Belvederes lifts off with marine party. HA as Belvedere 'G' takes off - as it turns away towards the shore the second Bristol returns to the ship to take on more men and pick up a Land Rover on cargo slings. Cut to an aerial shot from a helicopter to Centaur steaming at sea - the two Belvederes 'B' and 'G' are parked aft, and Gannet and Sea Vixen aircraft forward. HA from island as Wessex 02 takes off from Centaur at sea. Cut to LA from a lighter alongside the carrier, now anchored off Dar-es-Salaam - the ship's crane lowers a Ferret armoured car while marines go down a rope ladder, followed by one of the Tanganyikan wounded seen earlier - still draped in his bath towel. The lighter heads for shore carrying three Ferrets and a Land Rover. The vehicles are offloaded at Dar-es-Salaam and drive off through the city. LSs of State House, Dar-es-Salaam. Aerial sequence from a helicopter in flight along the coast to an airstrip. At the airstrip a party of marines rest in the shade provided by the wing of a light observation aircraft. Marines pose holding L4 Brens while others lie with their rifles in the prone firing position. Wessex helicopters ferry men and supplies. Inside one of the hangars is parked a light aircraft bearing Israeli markings. LS across the field to a parked East African Airways Fokker Friendship, and pan right to a Hastings transport. Marine officers consult their maps. Marines file onboard the transport with full kit and equipment - presumably flying out to other trouble spots. Cut to scene at Army House, Headquarters of the Tanganyika Military Forces at Dar-es-Salaam - parked up in front of the buildings is a force of Land Rovers and armoured cars with marines and a party of armed sailors. Surrendering mutineers leave the buildings, accompanied by some women and children - one of the marines guarding them catches sight of the cameraman and grins broadly. The prisoners, most of them carrying bedding roles, sit on a patch of open ground.
