The cameraman observes the flow of traffic at a crossroads on the Caen-Bayeux road near Bretteville-l'Orgueilleuse; the two Bedford QL lorries are seen on tandem (one towing the other) are from 54th RASC Company, 43rd Wessex Division. 302nd MAC's Austin ambulances queue up to be loaded with medical stores and stretchers. Three-ton lorries from three RASC units (284th and 399th RASC Companies and a 21st Army RASC Unit) file through Bretteville with supplies for the front.
