Sea trials of various British Power Boat Company vessels in the Solent, Southampton - the prototype of RAF 200 seaplane tender, the hull of the 37 ft 6 inch target boat and a 16 ft dingy. (The trial of the RAF 200 was undertaken by T E Lawrence - "Lawrence of Arabia" - when he was known as aircraftman T E Shaw.)

I. General views of the RAF 200 prototype 37 ft 6 inch seaplane tender, including close-up shots of people leaving the cabin to the back of the boat. Top left of the screen sits aircraftman T E Shaw (T E Lawrence, also known as "Lawrence of Arabia"). Four men leave the cabin. Brief shot of the men lowering an 'A' frame from the roof of the cabin. Close-up shots of the three propeller configuration and of the boat and an unidentified man. A "Sea Joker" dingy undertaking a series of passes at sea, including some quite rough chop. A series of passes by a RAF 200 class seaplane tender.
