I. (Reel 2) Reconstruction in France. Repair of war damage has already started, with men working on destroyed bridge and Rennes marshalling yards, filmed while still smouldering after Luftwaffe attack, being repaired. German railway engineers oversee the laying of rails by French and German workmen. Over view of quarry Organisation Todt is said to be working to bring life back to normal. Railway workers, veterans from the Polish campaign, rebuild a railway bridge, over which passes the first train, marked Eisb Betr Komp 204 on its side.
