I. Ammunition for artillery - 6-pounder, 25-pounder, 4.5-inch - and AFVs - 75mm, 6-pounder, 7.92mm Besa - and infantry weapons - 4.2 inch mortar, Nos 36 and 69 grenades and 3-inch mortar - is stacked in numbered bays along the Hasselt-Hechtel road in the vicinity of Helchteren(?), where a 'Redcap' is seen on point duty directing the flow of traffic (including two Sherman tanks) at the cross- roads.

II. Civilian cyclists and a Bedford OY 3-tonner head through Neerpelt. POL supplies - drums of lubricating oil(?) and five-gallon jerrycan petrol containers are seen stockpiled along the roadside verges and in the surrounding fields on the Helchteren-Bree road. A civilian labourer unloads jerrycans from a Bedford QLT lorry and stacks them nearby. Filming from another Bedford QLT carrying jerrycans, the cameramen record the journey along the Bree road past POL and ammunition dumps in the countryside and in villages stockpiled by RASC, Pioneer and civilian labour before their own lorry and other Bedford QLTs have their cargoes unloaded and stacked. Civilians are brought to work (?) in Dodge 3-tonners.
