III. 'QUEEN AMELIE OPENS FETE: H.M. Queen Amelie opens the East Surrey Regimental Fête at Richmond. The funds are in aid of the Prisoners of War and Old Comrades Association'. Queen Amelie, seated, is addressed by an officer. She stands up and delivers a short speech, standing by the tape; however, she is not filmed cutting it. Amelie is introduced to a line of wounded soldiers sitting down. Further shot of Amelie, this time sat at a table. Item concludes with a panning shot (fairly badly filmed) of the fête.

Railway track in unidentified Belgian town; clouds of smoke rise in the distance on both sides; on the right hand side, a large building smoulders. Cut to closer views of the building: both white smoke and then black smoke pour out from behind.
