Stalin and Marshal Budenny stand at Lenin's tomb in Red Square as infantry and armoured units pass by, and planes fly overhead. Audience includes American officers, who look at Russian Katyushas (rocket launchers) mounted on US built trucks, and a Japanese military attaché.

I. "Flame defence." Film illustrates now Britain's coastline would have been defended by oil blazing on the surface of the sea had the Germans attempted to invade England in 1940. As well as pipes submerged beneath the surface of the sea, ready to be ignited at any moment, defences included inflammable oil jets on and beside the beaches.
