II. "Driving on in Holland." Troops of the 2nd Army drive on towards the Scheldt making full use of their Kangaroos (modified Shermans), Crocodiles (flame-thrower tanks), Scorpions (mine-sweeping tanks) and a Churchill tank loaded with bundles of wood to be used for crossing ditches. Dutch civilians are rescued from a burning house.

I. "Far East Fleet." Increasing strength of the British Fleet is illustrated by ships at sea, including 'King George V', at the time of attacks on Sabang, Medan and Padang on Sumatra. Ammunition is checked on the deck of a carrier, planes are bombed up then Corsairs, Barracudas and a Grumman Hellcat take off. Returning Corsairs land on the deck, one bouncing and tipping onto its nose. View of Rear Admiral Moody.

III. "RAF gaol-breakers." Film now released of the Mosquito raid led by Group Captain Pickard (of "F for Freddie" fame) against the Amiens prison where French patriots were being held. Planes take off, fly low over the Channel then camera plane films smoke rising from the prison after the attack which enabled patriots to escape. Pickard's grave.
