II. "Captured V1 lairs." Bits of rocket bombs before assembly lie on the ground near a launching site concealed in a wood. Unsuccessful V1s which fell short are seen exploded and unexploded in fields.

I. "Gestapo culture chamber." Interior views of a rifle range near the Eiffel Tower. Uneven surface of a wall is allegedly sound proofing material bearing the desperate hand impressions of victims undergoing burning and semi-electrocution forms of torture. A post where the victims were later shot is shown in detail - the peppered wood and a rosary evoking comment.

III. "Belgium greets her liberators." Armoured troops passing a blazing truck by the roadside and the round-up of a few straggling Germans suggest the military action which preceded the triumphant entry of the British into Brussels, followed by the Belgian forces. Immense enthusiasm of the crowds recalls the 1918 parade (flashback to Duke of York riding through with King and Queen of Belgium). Cheering, waving and dancing in the streets. Belgians salvage documents from the Palais de Justice fired by the Germans while others destroy remaining signs of recent occupation.
