"Naughty Nineties" Males and females in bathing suits frolicking on the beach at Coney Island, New York. d. 1894 Slow motion film of Gentleman Jim Corbett boxing an opponent. e. "Fashions." Girls tightening up their corsets. f. 1898 W G Grace and other cricketers walking towards the pitch. g. 1896 First filmed Derby, won by Prince of Wales' "Persimmon." h. 1891 Village blacksmith at work. i. 1890 American film drama of firemen racing to blazing house, bashing down window and rescuing woman in nightdress.
