POWs repatriated from Germany visit the parcelling centre and describe conditions in the camps: "average day depends on weather," "delivery of letters is getting better." "in 1940 food situation was very bad indeed," "Germans started treating us pretty decent now they have given up ghost."

Rear-Admiral Holt and Air Vice Marshal Brome look on. Portuguese Military and Civilian Governors, Brigadier Barboza (?) and Senor da Silva, provide a "warm welcome." Portuguese help in constructing an airfield which will enable Allied planes to patrol the whole Atlantic. PS: Christmas greetings to theatre patrons.
