The wreckage of Zeppelin LZ85, brought down in the marshes near Salonika, 5th May 1916.
French and Serbian soldiers inspect and pull apart the wreckage of the Zeppelin. An unexploded bomb (?) lies in the marsh. On board one of the British ships which shot down the Zeppelin, a naval lieutenant and a gun-layer stand beside their 3-inch gun. The crew of the Zeppelin are marched back to a French camp, where they are briefly interrogated.
