Advertising the Exhibition of War Pictures at the National Gallery
Papers regarding a scheme for advertising the exhibition of war artists pictures at the National Gallery, by attaching panels to the railings and various other points on the outside of the premises. The scheme was planned by Misha Black and Milner Gray of the Ministry of Information. It was proposed that Barnett Freedman should design the lettering for the boards and the file includes his estimate letter and some rough design drawings.
The scheme appears to have come to nothing.
