Ford submitted a picture of a Home Guard subject, which was purchased for ten guineas in February 1941 (6) (IWM:ART LD 846). There is then correspondence with the CIAD regarding Ford's applications for sketching permits.
Ford was also particularly interested in Land Army subjects. A further work was submitted in July 1941, and purchased for 15 guineas (22) (IWM:ART LD 1291), and again in February 1942, purchased for 15 guineas (IWM:ART LD 1833). More works were submitted but declined. Other papers concern Ford's application for a sketching permit, and enquiries and reproduction requests.
