Many papers in this file concern the distribution of the WAAC's pictures after the war. The last meeting of the WAAC (under Muirhead Bone's chairmanship) was 28 December 1945; the Committee's work was then carried on by the Imperial War Museum's Art Sub Committee. The file includes papers about the winding up of the WAAC and the transfer of its work to the IWM.
