Papers primarily regarding a request that Royal Academicians should be accorded the same privileges as official war artists. This was a rather delicate subject.
It includes an exchange of correspondence between the WAAC and Wilfrid de Glehn, who wished to paint the ruins of St Pauls; the question of Royal Academicians being allowed to include their official pictures in the RA's annual exhibitions; and a loan exhibition organised by the RA.
The remainder of the papers discuss the large exhibition of the WAAC pictures held at the Royal Academy from 13 October 1945.
