In Spring 1918 the possibility of Strang's employment under the total output scheme was discussed. However there are no further papers until February 1919, when the possibility of a large picture was still being discussed, which eventually became IWM:ART 2284. Strang also submitted some sketches, of which a number were purchased (IWM:ART 1639-1647).
Further works - prints - were submitted but the Committee felt they could not afford them.
Other papers relate to damage done to two of Strang's works in a store incident, and the donation of numerous drawings and prints by Strang's widow in 1954.
