Royal Air Force note book and photographs of Sergeant Alfred Taylor while he was an aircraft fitter with No. 19 Squadron, RAF, at RAF Duxford between 1938 and 1941. The collection includes:
Royal Air Force note book for Workshop and Laboratory Records with inside cover noting the book belonged to 'Cpl. Taylor, 19 (F) Squadron, Duxford' 567823, and that he was in 31st Entry for the Advanced Rigging course working on aircraft that include the West Wallace, Hawker Hart and Fairey Gordon. The book comprises lecture notes and hand drawn diagrams.
Seven photographs including:
Two photographs of Alfred Talor with a 19 Squadron Gloster Gauntlet - one with him seated in cockpit and another with him standing by tailplane of Gauntlet K 4088. Both with hand written note on reverse: ' 'B' Flight 19 (f) Squadron, 1938, Duxford'.
