Documents and photographs relating to the service of Flying Officer Frank Charles Hannan, a Bomb Aimer in 428 'Ghost' Squadron, Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF) during the Second World War. Collection includes:

RCAF Pilot's Flying Log Book detailing training and operations from August 1942 to July 1944, which is appended with damage assessment photographs and newspaper clippings relating to individual operations over Western Europe. The log book also includes his record of service and list of aircraft flown.
RCAF Flying Log Book for Aircrew other than Pilot detailing training and operations from October 1942 to January 1945, and including various certification stamps and documents, newspaper clippings and photographs. The log book also includes his record of service and list of aircraft flown.
RCAF Note Book with hand-drawn technical diagrams.

Photocopies of: a British propaganda leaflet titled 'Deutschland hat den Krieg verloren' dropped by Hannan's Halifax over Ludwigshafen-Mannheim on 18 November 1943; 428 Squadron weekly operational aircrew return for 18 February 1944; 428 Squadron crew lists for operation on 25 February 1944.
