A ts report (45pp) entitled 'Report on a visit to North Africa by Lieutenant Colonel D H Warren RAOC, March – June 1943', while he was at the Central Ordnance Depot, Royal Army Ordnance Corps, at Chilwell, and containing a diary / itinerary of his visit to North Africa, with details of arriving in Algeria, and visits to COO, No 1 Base Ordnance Depot (BOD) in Algiers, No 3 BOD in Bone, 44th Non Division Ordnance Field Park and No 3 OFP, then First Army HQ at Soukh Arras, appointing an Officer in charge Central Provision Office, Fort de L'Eau, and meetings in Casablanca, and his inspections of 1st BOD for storage of Motor Transport spares and assemblies, his recommendations for improvements in the supply of spare parts, transferring duties and personnel to 3rd BOD, and opening a Central Provision Office at Fort de L'Eau, and also including appendices containing orders, instructions and reports written by him in the field about the above. Many of the appendices are written on the back of scrap Motor Transport Service Parts order forms / invoices (?) from the Chrysler Corporation of Canada Ltd (1942 – 1943).
