Private Papers of Captain J H Cattanach

A draft ts account (c125pp, written c.1970) entitled 'The Jeep Track', a semi-fictional account written in the style of a novel and with some names changed, of his service with the 4th Battalion Royal Nigerian Regiment (81st West African Division), while on attachment from the Cameronians (Scottish Rifles), in Africa (1941), India, and on the Arakan Front in Burma (1943 - 1944). The account is illustrated throughout with photographs, showing officers and native troops, and annotated maps.
