Papers and drawings relating to his service with "B" Company, 6th Battalion, Green Howards, the printing of his rabbit drawings as "Pages from the Scrap Book of Fluff Brush" drawn whilst in hospital and sold in aid of the Red Cross, and his death in action. The collection includes 3 ms notes relating to permission to preach at the Dover Congregational Church (8 June [1941]); 3 ms editions of "Desert News" (January 1943-March 1943, 13pp, 18pp and 6pp respectively) written and illustrated by him, each being the "sole copy", containing humorous cartoons, mock advertisements, features on women's fashion designs by 'Celena', articles on England after the War, Equality for Women, the Ideal Home, and the Colour Bar; a Christmas card design (1943); 8 original Fluff Brush ink drawings; a copy of "Pages from the Scrap Book of Fluff Brush" autographed by himself and medical and nursing staff of the 106 (SA) General Hospital; a copy of the British Red Cross Junior Journal (June 1946) which features a double page spread of his drawings under the title "The Adventures of Fluff-Brush"; notes (2pp, ms and 2pp, ts) relating to the printing of Fluff Brush; 5 air mail letter cards to his wife with details about his "bunny scenes of hospital life", his time in hospital, hopes for the future, and helping the Padre; 2 bunny drawings; a photograph of him in uniform; 2 photographs of 106 (SA) General Hospital; The Green Howards' Gazette (January 1945) which includes a reference to his death and "Fluff Brush"; ts letter from Major Greensill relating to his death in action (1p, 31 October 1944); ms letter from H Vette relating to his grave; a photograph of his grave.
