Six files of papers relating to his naval service, 1911 - 1968, and comprising: certificates and decorations (1911 - 1946); a lecture on the Harwich Force, 1914 - 1918, given by Rushbrooke at the Royal Naval Staff College, Greenwich (June 1931); naval messages and telegrams (1941 - 1945), a short story entitled 'Return to UK' (November 1941), notes on naval operations in the South Atlantic and Western Mediterranean (1941 - 1942) and other Second World War items; correspondence with the Admiralty relating to his dormant appointment as Flag Officer-in-Charge, Humber (1951 - 1953); correspondence with Donald McLachlan, Humphrey Quill and Lamplough relating to the publication of McClachlan's history of the DN1 (1966 - 1968); and various Second World War press cuttings (1941 - 1945).
