A collection of items relating to Phantom (GHQ Liaison Regiment) in North Africa and Italy, 1943-45, including; a ts copy of an unofficial account (66pp), edited by Norman Radloff, about the history of Phantom, particularly GHQ Liaison Squadron MEF, its objectives, service in the Western Desert, Sicily, Sidi Bishir, Lebanon, Italy, the attack on the Gothic Line, time in Florence, Italy, and in Austria, and with details of war establishments, the relationship between Phantom and 'J' Service, and also includes detailed accounts of 16 patrols, January to June 1945, written by the commanding officers of those patrols; together with 25 photographs of Inch in uniform, group photographs, portrait photos of friends and colleagues in Italy and Greece (1944 - 1945); five maps of North Africa and Italy, including a Beach Diagram of Spineta Nuova, in the Province of Salerno, Italy (August 1943), an Aerial photograph of an Italian town (November 1943); a signed Mess Christmas Menu (1944); a copy of the Services Guide to Naples; a guide from the Tourist Office of Lausanne; and a copy of the order of service for his funeral service (July 2003).
