Two flying log books, a pilot's flight record and log book, air combat reports (4pp), service records , official correspondence (10pp, mainly concerning his DFC) and 5 photographs (including 2 of him in uniform) dating from his service in the RAF between February 1942-October 1946 and including his training as a pilot, attached to the United States Army Air Force (USAAF) in both Georgia and Alabama (February – December 1942), at No 10 FIS (February-June 1943), No 24 EFTS (June 1943- January 1944), No 20 AFU (February-August 1944) and at a Mosquito Training Unit [MTU]( August-September 1944), before joining No 141 Squadron RAF Bomber Command (September 1944-July 1945) with whom he saw active service, flying mainly Mosquitos in operations over Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany, France and Denmark [for which he was awarded the DFC, for his part in an operation over the Rhine in February 1945, for courage and tenacity displayed when attacking an enemy airfield], and finally with NO 162 Air Delivery Letter Service (ADLS) Squadron, RAF Transport Command (January- June 1946).
