Bound photocopy (235pp) of a printed chronology of operations by the Special Operations Executive (SOE) with the Resistance in France during the Second World War, compiled in 1960 by the SOE Adviser to the Foreign Office, Edwin Boxshall, and annotated by Professor M R D Foot; it covers in great detail over 70 SOE circuits and Jedburgh teams with a wealth of information in French and English about individual agents, their missions and achievements (in terms of sabotage and harrassment of the enemy) as well as their ultimate fate and contains also a useful map of France showing the SOE circuits and a nominal roll of the principal SOE personnel working for F Section in France, listing their pseudonyms and rank and indicating whether they survived or not with cross references to some of the sections of the chronology in which they appear.
