Selection of ts reminiscences and stories (17pp, undated) recounting his experiences in the Middle East (date unknown) and Greece (from March 1941) while serving with the Royal Army Medical Corps (RAMC) (rank unknown) and, after his capture in Athens (April 1941), as a prisoner of war in Stalag VIIIB (Lamsdorf), describing his experiences as an artist, notably the time when he met and exhibited his work to Princess Alice of Battenburg (Princess Andrew of Greece) (March 1941), and his work teaching art in the camp, with useful insights into the treatment of British prisoners immediately after their surrender in Greece and that meted out to Canadians captured after the raid on Dieppe (August 1942), and the contrasting atmosphere in Greece between the jubilation over the arrival of British troops (March 1941) and the misery over their capitulation (April 1941).
