File containing official summaries of evidence (also a few relevant newspaper cuttings) with regard to atrocities committed by Japanese troops on the Andaman Islands during the Second World War, compiled during October 1945 - January 1946 at Port Blair by Major Barron while he was serving with the Rajputana Rifles and had been detailed to assist 607 Field Security Section in the gathering of evidence of war crimes on the islands; there is also a brief note (1p ts) written by Barron explaining the historical background to the documents and the resulting war crimes trials.
