Collection of papers (44pp) relating to her service with the WAAF and SOE in the UK and France, December 1943 - December 1944, including her ts Pay Book (SPB1, 16pp, December 1943 - May 1944); her undated ms 'recipe book', a Plain Exercise Book Supplied for Use in Military Schools (Code No 28-33, 7pp) with notes in pencil on how to make explosives out of household materials; her forged ts French Identity Card with photograph (4pp, 14 August 1942); her ts WAAF Identity Card with photograph (RAF Form 1250 (R), 4pp, October 1944); her ts National Registration Identity Card (4pp, December 1944); her ts Canadian Travel Certificate with photograph (No 2624, 4pp, December 1944) issued by the High Commissioner for Canada in London under the Free Passage Scheme of the Canadian Government for the wives, widows and children of members of the Canadian Forces Overseas; her ts Immigration Identification Card (2pp, December 1944) for her passage in the PASTEUR to Halifax in Canada; a ts letter (1p, August 1946) from the Air Ministry in London announcing her transfer from the Civil Division to the Military Division of 'the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire'; and a ts letter (1p, May 1948) from the Department of National Defence, Army in Winnipeg (Manitoba, Canada) forwarding the undated ts citation (1p) for her award of the MBE 'for outstanding duty in the second Great War' as an Assistant Section Officer serving as a courier to the 'Headmaster' Circuit in the Le Mans area of France from May 1944 [code name 'Blanche'], 'maintaining liaison between the various groups of the organisation and instructing in the Maquis', and then as de facto second in command of the Circuit 'entrusted with work of greater responsibility', notably travelling 'through the enemy lines on an intelligence mission' and being 'fired upon by German soldiers'.
