Series of papers relating mainly to the SOE agent Odette Churchill (Sansom), code name 'Lise', comprising: Notice of Committal to Prison (Einlieferungsanzeige, 1p ts) of Odette Churchill, dated 13 May 1944, issued by the Karlsruhe Gestapo; official list (2pp ts) of her personal possessions at the time of her arrival in prison in Karlsruhe (Einbringensverzeichnis, dated 13 May 1944); notice from Karlsruhe Gestapo to the prison governor, dated 18 May 1944 (1p ts), stating that she is to be kept in 'protective custody' until further notice; order from Karlsruhe Gestapo to the prison governor (1p ts), dated 7 July 1944, informing him that she is to be transferred to Ravensbruck concentration camp; two notices received by the Karlsruhe police (2pp ts), dated 11 and 18 July 1944, concerning her transportation to Ravensbruck; official form (2pp ts, undated) recording her transfer from Gestapo detention in Karlsruhe to Ravensbruck (stamped 'Untersuchungshaftanstalt Karlsruhe'); together with a small number of miscellaneous documents relating to the SOE 'F Section' agents Harry Ree and Jacqueline Nearne, including two 'forged' ID cards (and possibly other documents) which were prepared for the postwar film NOW IT CAN BE TOLD.
