Signal Concerning the Surrender of Singapore, February 1942

Ts signal (1p), issued at 4.45pm on 15 February 1942 and signed by Captain H M Martin, a GSO III on the staff of 11th Indian Division, announcing that HQ Malaya Command in Singapore had agreed with the Japanese Command in Malaya to a ceasefire with effect from 8.30pm that evening and that all British and Commonwealth forces in Singapore must be disarmed and should carry out no further denials.
