Printed volume (130pp) prepared in 1946 containing copies of surviving official documents and papers collected from the records of the men's civilian internment camp at Lintang, Kuching in Borneo, 1942 - 1945, and essentially comprising the memoranda written and circulated by the British camp master (C D Le Gros Clark up to summer 1944, then W C Adams) giving details of orders and regulations imposed by the Japanese camp authorities and of submissions made to the Japanese by the General Committee in an attempt to secure some improvement in the health and living conditions of the internees. The principal subjects of the memoranda are ration scales, the supply of water, air raid precautions and contacts with the neighbouring women's internment camp.
