Photocopy (2pp) of No 603 Squadron RAF Fighter Command Operations Record Book entries for 16 - 20 October 1939 with a record of the shooting down of a Heinkel bomber on 16 October (claimed to be the first German aircraft shot down by the RAF in the Second World War), together with photocopy (3pp) of a report from Observer Corps Centres in Galashiels and Dunfermline recording this combat and the shooting down of this aircraft into the sea.
