4 documents relating to the Second World War medical service of Dr J D M Lamond in India, including 2 ts sheets (2pp), 9 March 1942, concerning Burma Road hospital and describing doctors arriving from Manipur and Ledo, pay and allowance, accommodation, drugs and equipment, ts letter (2pp) to Dr Lamond from Lagden apologising for delaying him from leaving his practice in Balipara due to military rearrangement and asking him to consider taking up a post at Aijal Road (Dwarbund P O Cachar) although there was a water difficulty, an ms telegram to Lamond from Lagden stopping him from going to Aijal, together with a ts letter (1p), 29 October 1944, from Lamond reporting on the state of health of Mr J Gellatly, Sorbhag Project 1942 - 1943, and raising the problem of dust which was at the basis of the influenza and pneumonia cases that were increasing at the camp.
