5 pilot's flying log books, March 1939 - June 1966, covering his initial training and subsequent flying in various types of aircraft from biplanes to jets, and including his Second World War service with No 48 Squadron, February 1940 - May 1941 flying Ansons on convoy protection duties (including the Dunkirk Operation), with No 407 Squadron, May 1941 - October 1941, flying Hudsons on convoy protection, various training posts, and finally with No 211 Squadron, September 1943 - October 1944, flying Beaufighters in ground strafing operations over Burma, followed by his post-war service as commander of No 109 Squadron, December 1951 - October 1953, RAF Horsham St Faith, December 1955 - March 1958, RAF Wartling, June 1958 - July 1960, RAF Kinloss, October - November 1963, and RAF Ballykelly, November 1963 - June 1966; together with ts/ms lists (88pp) of prisoners of war from No 5 and No 8 compounds Rangoon gaol, April 1945; ts (roneo copy 6pp) operational history of 177 Squadron, 1943 - 1944; RAF Flying Clothing Card (1945 - 1946); Flying Clothing Servicing Records (1963); RAF Officers Pay and Allowances Book (1964 - 1965).
