Ms journal/scrapbook (109pp) of his service as a Private with the 1/9th (Cyclist) Battalion Hampshire Regiment enroute to (February 1916) and in India (as part of 45th Brigade on the North West Frontier) from February 1916 to October 1917, as a Signals Officer with the 2/109th Infantry Regiment, Indian Army training in India (July 1918 - September 1919) and with the 73rd Carnatic Infantry, Indian Army in the Tochi Valley, North West Frontier in 1921. The volume contains some interesting photographs and occasional descriptions of soldiering in India. Ms/ts diary (101pp) covering the period 28 October 1941 to 15 February 1942 written as a war diary of the 18th Divisional Signals in passage to Singapore (REINA DE PACIFICO and WAKEFIELD) and in action in Singapore from 29 January to 15 February 1942, including recommendations for honours and awards and occasional POW entertainments programmes. Printed lists of participants at the 1981 National Ex-POW Reunion held in Australia. [Moore served in the Royal Signals TA in the 1930's, was mobilised in 1939 and imprisoned in Singapore from 1942 to 1945].
