Photocopy of ms memoir (31pp) of his service in the 4th Battalion, South Wales Borderers (40th Brigade, 13th Division) January 1915 - April 1917, covering his experiences at Gallipoli June - August 1915, and in Mesopotamia December 1916 - April 1917; ms account (13pp) of the operations leading to the capture of Baghdad and ts account (5pp) of the Battle of Bundi-Adhaim April 1917; ts account (3pp) of his capture by the Turks at that battle; together with ms account (5pp) of his service in the 57th (Home Counties) Brigade RFA (TA) 1921 - 1939; and ms memoir of his service as a Staff Captain and later AQMG(M) at HQ Eastern Command in the Movement Control Branch including preparatory work for Operation OVERLORD, September 1939 - August 1944, then as a member of the Military Occupation Staff planning Control Commissions for occupied countries, August 1944 - June 1945; also a copy (35pp) of Q(M) Eastern Command Report on operation OVERLORD, and an ms note (8pp) on meeting Lawrence of Arabia in 1916.
