Object description
File of photocopies of documents placed on the ship's noticeboard of HMS NORFOLK, a cruiser in the Home Fleet based on Scapa Flow and Iceland, November 1941 - November 1943, and relating to her employment on patrols in the Denmark Straits to prevent German surface ships breaking into or out of the Atlantic and as part of the covering forces for convoys to and from North Russia, most notably PQs 14, 16, 17 and 18, all in 1942, and as a unit in the escort for HMS RENOWN when Churchill took passage on her back to the UK in September 1943 after the Quebec Conference.
