Three certificates for mentions in despatches (March and July 1919) which he received for his services, in the rank of Lieutenant Colonel, on the Western Front during the First World War, correspondence (3pp) from the Irish Office to the War Office concerning his employment as Director of Resettlement responsible for assisting disbanded members of the Royal Irish Constabulary, September 1922; and a printed copy (1p) of the Order of the Day issued by Field Marshal Baron Mannerheim, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Finland, on 31 May 1940 thanking the British Contingent of the International Volunteer Force for Finland for their support of his country.
