5 ts letters (July - October 1918) relating to the delivery of a cello to Private S T Atkinson during his service in the RAMC in Salonika, 3 of the letters being sent to his wife in Croydon by the Stores & Transport Department of the British Red Cross Society who had undertaken to deliver it concerning insurance and its despatch on 9 September and 2 from the British Red Cross in Salonika to the Matron of the 28th General Hospital to which Atkinson was attached referring to its receipt, an edition of the BALKAN NEWS (12 November 1918) announcing the armistice on the Western Front, a leaflet printed by the BALKAN NEWS in December 1918 including an account by the Bishop of London of the achievements of the Salonika Force and the dates of its September 1918 offensive, Atkinson's Certificate of Transfer to Reserve on Demobilization (AF Z21, December 1919) and Certificate of Employment During the War (AF Z18) and a photograph of him.
