Ts orders issued by Captain H L Nathan, the commanding officer of the 2/1st Battalion London Regiment (Royal Fusiliers) (attached 88th Brigade, 29th Division), for the evacuation of the battalion from Suvla Bay (3pp, December 1915) and Cape Helles (2pp, January 1916), an application by 2nd Lieutenant Telford for a First Class rail ticket (AF W3504, July 1917), a Combined Leave and Railway Ticket from Ballymena to France (April 1918), a newspaper citation (September 1918) announcing the award of his Military Cross, an Officer's Railway Warrant for travel from Shorncliffe to Brighton (February 1919) and a postcard showing a sectioned view of the captured German submarine U 5, together with two ts letters to his father-in-law from Field Marshal Lord Roberts VC (November 1914) and from Lady Roberts (March 1916) thanking him respectively for the field glasses and telescope which he has donated to their appeals and a souvenir edition of the DAILY MAIL to commemorate Queen Victoria's Golden Jubilee in 1897
