Photocopy of ts memoir (27pp) of his service in the Royal Air Force, 1936 - 1949, as an Instrument Fitter, with No 150 Bomber Squadron RAF at RAF Boscombe Down, January - September 1939, then in France, September 1939 - July 1940 until evacuated from Brest, then with No 1 Pilotless Aircraft Unit, RAF St Athan, October 1940 - August 1941, with No 1 Anti-Aircraft Cooperation Unit RAF Weybourne, August 1941 - August 1942, then in charge of No 1621 "Queen Bee" Flight at RAF Abernorth, November 1942 - December 1943, followed by a posting to the Instrument Section of No 60 OTU, RAF High Ercall, December 1943 - September 1945, then to the Empire Air Navigation School, RAF Shawbury, September 1945 - July 1946, RAF Cranwell, July 1946 - May 1947, and finally a posting to RAF Drigh Road, Karachi, No 320 MU where he was serving at the time of the partition of India.
