[The Wounded at Work. Charity for Convalescent or Invalided Soldiers. Attached to the Ministry of War. Head Office: 154, Avenue des Champs-
Élysées, Paris. Work in the Hospitals. Ladies, members of our Charity, take free to Wounded Men undergoing treatment the raw materials
needed to make small items intended to keep them busy and amused. The wounded men can give the Charity the items they have made and be
remunerated for their work. These objects are then exhibited and sold in shops so as to enable the Charity to keep up and develop its
activities. The Friendly Welcome (Soldiers' Circle) offers free of charge to Wounded Men when they can get out: reading, a variety of games
refreshments, cigarettes and all they need for letter-writing. For invalided Soldiers or those in the process of being invalided out, the
Charity has organized an Employment Advice Service on the same premises which can inform them of jobs suited to their
aptitudes.]
