22 May 2021
Times have been tough for everyone.
The close knit aviation and air show fan community was hit hard by cancellations last year, not just because they couldn't see fantastic flying displays, but because you couldn't connect with friends and peers in person at shows across the country.
We will connect you for a day of aerial flying displays with plenty of opportunities to enjoy together.

Aerial Displays (subject to weather and serviceability)
Includes onsite parking
Entry to IWM Duxford for the day is included in your Flying Days ticket price.
IWM Duxford stands apart from other aviation museums because the site is an exhibit itself. It played a central role in some of the most dramatic days in 20th century history - serving as a base for many of the Spitfire and Hurricane pilots during the Second World War.
Inside every hangar and exhibition - and outside them too - there are hundreds of large aircraft, vehicles, tanks and more. Walk around them, inside them, above and below them and discover stories about the people whose lives they have affected.
Meet our Volunteers
Meet our Volunteers
Our volunteer team will be exploring the effects of conflict on wellbeing and mental health through a series of talks on the day, including their own experiences of PTSD and how volunteering has helped them personally. The team will also be available to chat about the volunteering experiences and exciting roles available and open to you at IWM Duxford.
