We can't wait to welcome you back

A message from John Brown, Executive Director, Duxford Air Shows

Behind the scenes at IWM Duxford, we’ve been working hard with partners across the aviation community to plan for a fantastic season of flying events in 2021. In light of the recent government announcement, we hope our hard work will mean you can safely join us for our two summer Air Shows and series of Flying Days, formerly known as Showcase Days.

We know the last 12 months have been hard for everyone and remain positive that we can entertain and delight audiences with the signature air displays we have become known for. We already have some incredible acts confirmed and we are in contact with the relevant governing bodies to ensure your health and safety remains our priority. Of course, we have had to make some changes to ensure our events can physically go ahead, including limiting ticket numbers in line with government guidance, and are almost ready to confirm everything we’ve been working so hard for to you enjoy.

We’ll let you know when tickets go on sale very soon. Sign up to eNews to be the first to know, or follow us on FacebookTwitter and Instagram.

From everyone at IWM Duxford, we can’t wait to welcome you back.

We are a charity

Armourer Fred Roberts re-arms Supermarine Spitfire Mark IA, X4474 'QV-I', of No. 19 Squadron RAF at Fowlmere, Cambridgeshire, while the pilot, Sergeant B J Jennings, has a word with his mechanic. Manor Farm can be seen in the background.

We are a charity

We couldn’t do it without your support. Visitors enjoy Air Shows at IWM Duxford every year, and every ticket matters.

We rely on the income we receive from ticket purchases for our branches and major events to continue to tell the stories of people who have lived, fought and died in conflicts involving Britain and the Commonwealth since the First World War. Please join our eNews to be the first to know when tickets go on sale this year.
