We want all of our visitors to enjoy Duxford Air Shows.

Our site is situated on an airfield almost 2 miles in length mostly on flat ground. Some areas are laid to tarmac but the majority of ground is laid to grass. Whilst we make every effort to make our site accessible, due to the nature of the site some areas may not be suitable for customers with restricted mobility.

Please book your blue badge parking permits when you book your tickets online. Parking onsite is limited and blue badge parking spaces may sell out.

More information can be found in the Accessibility Air Show FAQs.

Accessibility at Duxford Air Shows

  • Accessibility Information
Blue badge parking for visitors with disabilities

Visitors with a valid blue badge are able to purchase a parking permit in our blue badge parking area. On arrival to the site, blue badge parking will be clearly sign posted. Once you are parked in the blue badge parking area our Accessibility Champions will be on hand to assist you to the facilities across the Air Show showground.

Marked parking bays will ensure adequate space for wheelchair movement between vehicles. Access path ways will be added to aid movement from grass parking to the main tarmac paths.

  • Wheelchair and electric scooter hire

Unfortunately due to circumstances beyond our control there is currently no company issuing electric mobility scooters and wheelchairs. We advise where possible to bring your own mobility scooters/wheelchairs.

Our Duxford Shuttle Bus is not available for use at Duxford Air Shows.
