Horrible Histories: Rotten Rationing

Professional Development

Initial Teacher Training Students

How can museum collections show us what happened in the past?

We offer a free 45-minute session to student teachers and NQTs, demonstrating how we can learn about history by exploring source material and personal stories.

Stories link to conflicts from First World War, Second World War and the Iraq War 2003.

This session is adapted from our regular offer for schools with additional information about how we interpret objects and an overview of our learning programme.

Maximum group size 30.
