Transforming IWM London

Works are continuing to transform IWM London. Wherever possible, major work is taking place outside opening hours but on occasion there may be some disruption within the museum.

Please enter the museum using the West Entrance (through the Geraldine Mary Harmsworth Park).

Our First and Second World War Galleries have closed and our atrium and large object displays, including aircrafts, tanks and artillery, are covered from view. There is still plenty to see – find out what’s on.

All works will be finished by summer 2014, when we open the transformed museum, display our iconic large objects once again and unveil new First World War Galleries, to mark the Centenary of the First World War.  Find out more at Transforming IWM London.
