IWM London is transforming. The following galleries are closed:

  • Second World War Galleries including the Blitz Experience and Monty: Master of the Battlefield
  • Conflicts since 1945
  • Survival at Sea
  • Outbreak 1939

  • The Large Exhibits Gallery – all large objects including the Sopwith Camel, the V2 rocket and Monty’s tank have been moved to our sister branch IWM Duxford for conservation and storage

At 6pm on 1 January 2013 the whole museum will close to the public for six months.

We realise that  will cause some disruption to your visit and we do hope you will bear with us throughout our transformation. To find out more about our redevelopment visit Transforming IWM London.
